What can we say about Bonimar? Well she's from Venezuela, originally but 4 years ago her mom, Marimar, decided to pack their things and move down south, especifically to Chile were the economy of the country is way better than in Venezuela. She put up a lovely Venezuelan restaurant here in Chile  with typical dishes from her country. Bonimar was signed in a public school and here she met her friend Pochita, a shy and lovely Goth girl who loves to spend time with this Venezuelan family since they are so lively and funny. Bonimar is a very strenous student and she has won a scholarship that pays her yearly tuition and books.She wants to become an architect and go back to her country to build new houses for poor people. Both Bonimar and her mom, loves to dance Ballenato and caribeean tunes while they clean the house, so every saturday morning house-cleaning is a big party at their place. Marimar, her mom, is a very loving mother but she can be very strict and loud when she's angry. These two venezuelan beauties are so happy living here in Chile. Even though, they are still after 4 years still getting used to our cold winters.

Now, on the other and we have Elenita San Martin who's a native Chilean girl who lives uptown in a nice condo along with her mom, dad and her little sister Marcelita. Elenita studies at Sanit Luke's and she's not a very good student almost below average. Her worst subject is Maths, every year she gets with failing average to the finals so she needs to study extra hard to barely make it in the end. Elenita is a very lazy girl who easily gets distracted when she tries to study with her closest friends she never studies and then she gets awful grades. 





Here comes, the starting point for this new upcoming story. Elenita is failing in Maths and her homeroom teacher who also worked at Bonimar school asked Bonimar to help a student she had in another school. Bonimar accepted without knowing who the student was. Bonimar and Elenita had a small rivalry and now they are gonna be studying together. Will this be possible? Will Elenita finally concentrate while studying? Will Bonimar accept to teach Elenita who always played jokes about her flat-chest?

We need to wait and read.

In 2010, Andrew Baker A.K.A. Chutonon came up with the idea to write a poem about a little girl who becomes deaf because of an illness and how her whole world changed after she was diagnosed with partial deafness on her right ear. The poem was very sad and as he was writing about her , he fell in love with this poor little blonde child so he decided to write a story about her and the  everyday struggle in order to blend in. Little by little the story was growing and before he knew it he had written 365 pages about Francisca and her friends from her new school, Saint Luke's.

When he finished her story he wanted to expand this experience trying to transform his "book" into a comicbook but his lack of skills at drawing put his enthusiasm on hold until one day he learned about a program called "ComiPo!" and he knew this was the opportunity he was looking for. He bought this program in 2011 and he started using it with very humble attempts like these ones:



Until he finally thought he was good enough to start uploading his manga here on DA and so "Canvas of life" was uploaded, starting two pages a week,




At first his panel design was a mess, so little by little he started reading more and more mangas in order to understand the way to order his storytelling using ComiPo! On the page above you can see, the first Francisca, The first Elenita and the first Rocío ( Quite different from the way they look nowadays! Look at 's up to date appearance of the same three girls)



Quite different,right? Well...This is the way Andrew Baker envisioned them since the days he was just writing the story. O.K. I don't have to get distracted...Everything was working fine but there was a problem with ComiPo! at that time. The limited amount of items and clothing and the fixed poses made it sometimes quite hard for him to take the girls out of the school environment until one day he found a program called 3DCG that was originally created as an erotic virtual girl simulator that was so rich in terms of posing and clothes that it made him switch from ComiPo! to 3DCG on a split second. Thanks to the advice of a person here on DA who also used 3DCG he started using green screen to export his 3DCG pics into ComiPo! using the best of the two programs to come up with something as solid and well presented as this:



   As you can see on the pic above he mixed ComiPo! male characters and BG with his 3DCG ocs. This was the last step on his way to feel he was posting a quality product, something he's very serious about, He told me once "if you're gonna do something, do something good or else wait until you feel it's good enough".

Here in DA he met wonderful people who also worked with 3DCG like who helped him a lot to improve and make his manga what it is nowadays.

He also met Amazing artists who drew his beloved characters and made them look prettier than ever! Special thanks to (thank you, man) and for their amazing talent and patience.

Now, It's my time to help Andrew Baker by posting his work here. He had given me a lot of advice when using 3DCG so, this is the least I can do to thank him. So as it was decided by a poll, I will start posting from episode 13 "Rosario storms the Aikido dojo" but as a special treat Andrew Baker is doing a remake of his episode 1 that it was done only using ComiPo! but this time on 3DCG.

Starting next Monday January the 5th I'll start posting Chutonon's manga "Canvas of Life" here in my account. You may ask yourselves why? well...basically because he's been such a nice mentor using 3DCG and ComiPo! so I think the only way to repay him for his kindness is by posting his work which is unfortunately dying a very slowly death at inkblazers.com especially now that he found out that the site will close next February. 

So the big question now is...From where should I start posting his manga? starting on Chapter 15 "You've been framed" or previous chapters? Please, you guys let me know, ok?
